Made of a silver zinc alloy, our Cone Shaped Insert Nuts provide a strong and permanent thread into wood or wood-based products. They screw easily into panels and the external thread ensures positive locking. They come with or without flange options and are available in M6 or M8.
Confirmat Screws are designed specially for edge-to-face fastening of chipboard products, such as kitchen worktops and cabinets, flooring including insulation and underlay, flatpack furnitured, and building insulation.
A Confirmat Screw has a shapr-angled thread that is highly coarse; this allows the screw to easily cut into MDF and chipboard material. The deep cutting thread ensures accurate and close-fitting joints. These hard-wearing screws are an ideal solution for right-angle butt joints, and are an effective choice for easy assembly and dismantling of panels. The screws are tightened and loosened using an Allen Key.
A Cross Dowel Nut, also known as a Barrel Nut, is a specialist nut that is commonly used in aerospace and ready-to-assemble furniture applications.
Cross Dowel Nuts and Bolts are used to bolt thin sheet metal parts to bigger components that are often billet or forged. Barrel Nuts are designed for use with Joint Connector Bolts, where a right angle connection is needed.
Our M6 Cross Dowels are supplied in a Zinc Alloy material for a cost-effective solution, whereas the Cross Dowel M8 Nuts are supplied in Steel, for additional strength. The M8 Barrel Nuts are therefore ideal where heavier applications are required - typically on boards of 22mm thickness upwards.
Cam Lock Nuts are a commonly used connecting element, which is used most often in furniture assemblies. The main function of the Cam Lock is to create a secure joint between two connecting pieces of furniture, that is stable. They are used in combination with a screw and place in a wooden panel or laminated board, for example.
Our Cam Lock Nut range is made from Zinc Alloy in a choice of finishes, including; Nickel Plating, Zamak, Collinox Light Plating, as well as unfinished options. The nut features a crossed driver types.
These nuts can be inserted into pre-drilled holes and tapped into place with a hammer. They are self-locking to prevent rotation during hand or automatic assembly.
Furniture Connector Fittings are available in 2 styles with a range of bolt fittings. These connector fittings are easily knocked into wood and grip in place
T-Nuts are ideal for use with Adjustable Feet, Tilt Glides, Castors and Locking Bolts and other furniture mount applications. The are self-locking to prevent rotation during hand or automated assembly.
These nuts are easy to assemble, simply insert into a pre-drilled hole and tap into place with a hammer.
Available in a choice of thread sizes to suit your application.
Joint Connector Bolts, which are often known as Furniture Connector Bolts or more simply Joint Bolts, can be used with Joint Connector Nuts & Barrel Nuts. Our customers regularly purchase our Cross Dowel Barrel Nuts too.
Made from zinc plated steel, for superior oxidation, they are ideal in the assembly of flat-packed furniture. Quick and easy, thanks to the flat head with a hexagonal drive. They can be fitted using an M4 Allen Key (not supplied).
Joint Connector Nuts, are a joint connector made from zinc plated steel that offers supreme protection against oxidation. The steel connector nut have a hex drive that is suitable for an M5 Allen Key - making then quick and simple to install.
Joint Connector Nuts and Bolts are commonly used in combination to connect and join together component parts, such as wooden assemblies, including flat packed furniture or timber framing.
