Wide Flange Tapered Caps and Plugs offers additional protection to the surrounding area on the bearing surface. The wider flange keeps the part from being accidently pushed down through the mating part. Designed to be used as a plug or a cap. The tapered profile allows the part to plug muliple inner diameters or cap multiple outside diameters.

These dual function components are typically used to protect against damage, dirt, moisture, and other corrision during storage and shipping.

Featureing a straight forward push-fit design, they are easy to insall and remove.

  • Prevents the plug from being accidentally pushed down through the contact piece.
  • Protects threaded and non-threaded pipes, ports, and access points against damage, dirt, moisture, debris, and corrosion.
  • Suitable for use in hydraulic systems, automotive components, chemical or medical industries.
