This Gas Spring also referred as Gas Strut has a safety locking system to ensure operator safety for difficult access application. It is easy to control and there is not need for a separate safety rod due to It's manual release in critical lift -assist operations. This safety locking gas spring is made of a steel rod and tube made of carbon steel with epoxy powder coated finish.
