This Fixed Force Gas Strut is made of 316L stainless steel both rod and tube. It offers a high corrosion resistance for external applications via a special surface finish and has been tested to 1000 hours salt spay. It is also referred as Gas Spring due to It's Norogen Gas Charge. It is a self contained unit, maintenance free with a small change of force for better protection of hinges and mounts with a damped end travel. Suited for use on applications such as access panels, lids, bonnets and hatch cover. This part number contain, 2 gas struts with polyamide ball joints, 4 polyamide eyes, 1 Allen key and instruction leaflet.
