Flange nuts are hexagonal nuts with a wide flange that spreads the nut's load over a wider surface area. This makes them excellent for applications requiring a strong clamping force while avoiding damage to the mating surface.
Its hexagonal form provides numerous sides for a secure grip, making installation and removal with sockets or wrenches simple. The flange gives an additional layer of rigidity, preventing the nut from loosening owing to vibrations and torsion. Used in the automotive, manufacturing, and electrical industries.
