Flanged Carriages - Standard

These Flanged Standard Carriages are a type of linear bearing utilised for heavy-duty and accurate linear motion applications. They provide accuracy, stability, and reliability. Their steel rails are through hardened for increased durability and wear resistant life span.

The flange design provides both a greater surface area for the moving component to be mounted to, but also the ability to fasten to the moving part from either above or below the carriage.

The carriages will be provided separately from the rails and mounted on dummy blocks. To put the carriage onto the rails, align the dummy block to the end of the rail and slide it on. It is used in many applications, including equipment, automation, material handling systems, medical devices, etc.

Made from Black Polypropylene (PP), our Adjustable Plastic Feet provide a smooth, non-abrasive surface that helps protect floors and keep applications level.

Adjustable Linear Ball Bushings

Adjustable Linear Ball Bushings are used in linear motion systems and are designed to provide precise positioning along a linear axis. Composed of a housing with a row of 4-6 round ball circuits housed in a cage. It has a thin slot down the length of the body which closes the clearance between the inner and outer races between the balls and the shaft when installed in a tight fit housing to illiminate play.

When installed on a linear shaft, the ball bearings circulate between the inner and outer races, providing smooth, linear motion. It can withstand temperatures from -20C to +80C. Ideal for applications that require frequent changes or fine adjustments, such as printing machines, recording equiptment, and manufacturing processes.

Ball Screws

There are three types in this product group:

Gripneck Feet

Gripneck Feet, sometimes referred to as Mushroom Glides due to the mushroom-like shape of the foot, are an attractive replacement for stem-castors or stem-feet. Inserted into legs or base of an application, they enable for furniture to be moved about smoothly and easily when needed. They offer more stability than a castor, which are likely to roll back and forth, particularly on tiled or laminated surfaces.

Our Gripneck Foot range features a Black Polyamide (PA) base, or foot, and a Galvanised Steel stem. The Gripneck stem makes installation quick and the smooth PA base provides effortless manoeuvrability.

There are six types to choose from, catering for a variety of application needs. Type 4 has a hollow base.
