Grommet Strips - Plastic Rolls

Grommet Edging is placed around the edge of panel holes or knockouts to prevent damage and protect the wires and cables that pass through from sharp objects and chafing.

Our Grommet Strip range includes PVC Grommet Edging that protects sharp and delicate edges. It is made from soft Polyvinyl Chloride that is black in appearance. The flexibility of the soft material means the grommet roll fits irregular shapes and a range of panel thicknesses. PVC is a non-staining material that is resistant to ozone, acids, sunlight, and has excellent aging qualities.

Also included are Continuous Grommet Edging made from UL94 HB rated Nylon or very flexible Polyethylene (PE). Available in a choice of black and natural colors, these grommets are provided in 100ft plastic rolls. Types include a solid version for straight edges, and a serrated version for round, square, and rectangular holes.

Snap Latch Rivets comprise of a Plunger made from Nylon 6 and a Grommet made from Polycarbonate (PC). Together they form a Snap Latch assembly for the joining and securing of panels.

To install; simply push the grommet into the removable panel and then the desired plunger into the grommet. When the panel and plunger are pushed into the fixed panel, it locks them together. Pull on the plunger to easily remove the non-fixed panel.

Quarter-Turn Panel Fasteners

To install and remove; Use a flat-head screwdriver or a coin and give the fastener a quarter-turn. This releases the bottom panel while retaining the fastener in the removable panel. Alternatively, drive the plunger into the grommet with a hammer that locks two panels together.
