Heat Shrink Tubing

 (5 product groups)

What is heat shrink tubing?

Heat shrink tubing is a thermoplastic tube that shrinks when exposed to heat. It's an ideal cable management solution used to insulate, protect and bind cables together, creating a protective layer that fits the equipment’s contours and is also used to repair damaged cable insulation. It can cover individual wires or bundle entire arrays, protecting against moisture, dust and abrasion.

Benefits of using heat shrink tubing

Heat shrink tubing is versatile, easy to use and cost effective, bringing additional benefits too such as:

  • Provides excellent electrical insulation

  • Remains flexible

  • Resistant to chemicals

  • Enhanced structural support for strain relief on wires, connectors, and components

  • Provides excellent protection against abrasion, low impacts, and sharp cutting edges

Our range of heat shrink sleeves and heat shrink tubes are made from plastic, with various choices of ratio on offer, which is a key indicator when choosing the correct heat shrink insulation tubes for your intended applications.
