Cable grommets are a type of cable accessory designed for use with electrical cable passes. They are usually made of, plastic, rubber or metal and are commonly used when wires need to pass through a panel hole. Cable grommets help to minimise the risks of cable damage by protecting the cable in which they are applied. Risks include sharp edges, chemical and environmental influences and mechanical stress.
Our range of wire grommets is stocked with various types to choose from such as:
All are available in various panel thicknesses, sizes and materials. A popular choice with our customers is rubber grommets, however, we stock PVC, plastic grommets, nylon grommets and various other materials too.

Edging used for protection against sharp edges of punched holes. Adhesive provides self-retaining grip eliminating the need for epoxy. Solid version is for straight edges. Serrated version for round, square, and rectangular holes.
Grommet Edging is placed around the edge of panel holes or knockouts to prevent damage and protect the wires and cables that pass through from sharp objects and chafing.
Our Grommet Strip range includes PVC Grommet Edging that protects sharp and delicate edges. It is made from soft Polyvinyl Chloride that is black in appearance. The flexibility of the soft material means the grommet roll fits irregular shapes and a range of panel thicknesses. PVC is a non-staining material that is resistant to ozone, acids, sunlight, and has excellent aging qualities.
Also included are Continuous Grommet Edging made from UL94 HB rated Nylon or very flexible Polyethylene (PE). Available in a choice of black and natural colors, these grommets are provided in 100ft plastic rolls. Types include a solid version for straight edges, and a serrated version for round, square, and rectangular holes.
Molded Grommet Strip made from Nylon 6/6 and natural in its appearance. The Grommet Strip has a serrated design that is flexible.
Used as wear strips, non-abrasive edging, noise-reducing conveyor strips, framing, binding, or to protect from sharp edges. Built-in lubricant for reduced friction and longer part life. Resistant to ordinary solvents, mild acids and alkalis or fungus growth.
Edge mount grommets easily mount to the edges of panels, routes cables, and protects wires from sharp edges. "Wings" are flexible so it can accept various diameters and shapes. Open design allows cables to be inserted and removed.
Sealing Grommets, commonly known as a Cable Seal Grommet, are self sealing grommets that are ideal for use in oily and greasy environments. They easily snap into round holes, without any need of special tools.
We provide a range of IP67 sealed products, that we also refer to as IP67 Light Tight Grommets which are made from gray (LTG-199017) Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM).
The IP67 grommet confirms to IP67 standards for watertight seal, and acts as a blanking plug until a cable is installed. The cable seal grommet is also designed to withstand vibration.
Grommet Hole, also known as Hole Grommets, are intalled on the diameter edge of a panel hole or knockout. They protect passing wires, cables, tubes and hoses from damage caused by sharp edges and objects, and chaffing.
Our Hole Grommet range includes Rubber Hole Grommets made from Styrene Butadiene (SBR). The material has a tensile range of 30 to 100psi, and a temperature range between 225F to -50F. These Hole Grommets install instantly by simply and easily snapping into a hole. They benefit from excellent adhesion, and are designed to fit standard sheet metal holes.
Also available are Flexible Hole Grommets that are made from Standard and Flexible Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR), and Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE). The Standard PVC material is non-staining, and has resistance to ozone, acids, sunlight and has excellent aging qualities. The TPE options have a flame resistance rating of UL94 HB, with a temperature range from -58F up to 203F. They are also suitable for outdoor use in accordance with UL 746C.
Our Flexible Grommets are a Push In Grommet made from Polyethylene (PE) and Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE). Push In Grommets are a low-cost solution when applying a pass-through on tables, desks and other work stations, when routing cables and wires for computers. telephone and other desktop equipment.
These Push-In Plastic Grommets are ideal for applications where space is limited, and flexibility and appearance are important. Our Push-In Grommets are dust tight. The Push Grommet provides quick and easy mounting, and is suitable for enclosures with more and .079 inch (2mm) thickness.
Grommet is used by inserting the "unflipped" grommet into the hole, forming dies on each side of the hole that are pressed together until the grommet flips over itself, creating a flange on both sides of the hole. Meets NAS 1368 standard.
Open Bushings that are universal in nature feature an easy to push in design. This allows them to easily lock into place at common panel thicknesses. The split design allows side entry of pre-assembled cords, cables or tubes that have segments larger than the bushings internal diameter, such as connectors.
They offer ideal protection for wires, cables and tubing from unfinished, sharp edges. The open design allows the bushing to be assembled into holes that already contain a bundle. They can be adjusted to accept various diameters and shapes. Effortlessly installed with fingertip pressure, meaning no tools are required for installation.
