Knurled Thumb Screws - Slotted/Plastic

Our range of thumb screws is extensive, and includes these Knurled Head Screws; they are a type of washer-faced knurled thumb screw hat have a slotted drive in the screws head. The head on the plastic thumb screw is designed to make single-handed turning easier.

They are an ideal option for assemblies where components are modified on a regular basis - such as access panels. The manual operation means the knurled thumb screws are very important and can be used in many types of industrial applications.

Our knurled thumb screw range is made from natural Nylon 6/6, that is flame resistant to UL94 V2 standards.

Nylon Binder Head Screws

Binder Head screws are designed to fasten two parts using a threaded hole securely. Head height may be larger than the standard binder head style and includes a flat top surface. This allows the screw to distribute pressure evenly across the part's surface being fastened.

They are lightweight, vibration, chemical, and electrical and provide good resistance to vibrations and corrosion due to their material. Easy to install and remove using a screwdriver. Used in various applications, including electrical equipment, automotive repair or machinery construction.

Nylon Cheese Head Screws

Our Cheese Machine Screws are offered in standard metric sizes, and are a sound replacement for metal screws.

A Cheese Head Screw has a head with cylindrical sides with a flat disc top, and a flat bearing surface. The Cheese Head Machine Screw head is approximately half of its diameter, and features a slot drive.

Cheese Machine Screws are commonly used in appliance manufacturing, automotive applications, and electrical fixing components. They are a lightweight option, which benefits from resistance to vibrations, most chemicals, electricity, and corrosion.

Plastic Fillister Head Screws

Plastic Fillister Head Screws are designed to be used with a threaded insert or tapped hole. These have a fillister head and a rounded head with a slightly convex top surface that prevents the screw from being over-tightened.

Using a slotted, Phillips, or combination drive, it is simple to install or remove. These screws are lightweight, resistant to vibration, chemical, electrical and corrosion, making them an excellent choice for harsh environments. They are also highly impact resistant and unaffected by oils or detergents. Used in various applications, such as electrical and electrical enclosures, automotive components, and consumer products.

Plastic Pan Head Screws

Plastic Machine Screws with a pan head shape are available in a choice of Slotted and Cross (Phillips Fillister) drive types, and come in both standard metric and imperial sizes - making them a great alternative to metal screws.

Our pan head machine screws are lightweight with electrical, corrosion and vibration resistance, and is resistant to most chemicals. Material options include Nylon pan screws, made from flame retardant Nylon 6/6, and a Polycarbonate (PC) option that also offers flame resistance. The PC Slotted or Phillips Pan Head Screw is transparent in appeance and provides exceptionally high impact strength. Polycarbonate is unaffected by greases, oils and detergents. The Slotted or Phillips Nylon Machine Screws are natural in appearance.

Push-Fit Bumpers & Rubber Feet - Bumper

Bumper Feet, also called Push In Bumpers, can be used as glides, bumpers, closures, slides and stops for a range of applications. These Rubber Bumper Feet had a simple push feet stem that holds the Push In Rubber Feet in place - allowing them to protect surfaces from contact.

Our Push In Rubber Bumpers range includes a wide variety of styles, including;

Break-Away Bumpers that are designed to be pulled from the inside of the chassis. These bumpers have a mounting tab that breaks away after assembly, to save save. Made from Black Silicone Rubber, available with a H Shore A Hardness rating of 40 and 50; Silicone is good for high temperature applications. An ideal alternative to the Break-Away Bumpers, are Blind Install Bumpers that are also made from Silicone Rubber with a 45 Shore A Hardness rating. They feature a cross drive that is molded into the head that allows for quick installation from the outside of the chassis. The user can install with wither a #1 Phillips head screwdriver or a smaller blunt end rod.

The Silicone range extends with Pull Mount Bumpers with a 65 Shore A Hardness rating. Pulled from the inside of the chassis. Black in appearance, the high temperature silicone material help to cushion and prevent skidding.

Also available are Flat and Domed head split-stem bumpers made from Natural Nylon 6. Produced with a split stem portion that makes insertion easy, but removal difficult. As well as being great bumpers, they are also suitable for use as panel plugs.

Continuing our Nylon Bumper range are Standard and Coved Stem Bumpers with a Natural appearance. Used to protect surfaces from contact, they are ideal for sheet metal, wood and tubing.

Flat Head Stem Bumpers are also available, in a choice of Natural Nylon or Black Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE). The flat head gives these bumpers a design that is able to rest against a flat or tangent surface. The step-type or tapered lead on the stem makes insertion easy. A simple press-fit on the shank holds the bumper in place securely.
