Quick Assembly sleeves are easy to assemble or remove with the hook and loop design closure which promotes a quick and easy bundling of hose groups. Excellent for use in the field for applications where winding a spiral-formed product is very difficult or where the hose assembly can not be removed easily. Quick sleeve are a close quarter operator protection from hose bursts and will contain muliple hoses with a tighter hose bundling capability over standard sleeve.
Mining Safety Approved Hose Protection Nylon sleeves are dense but not bulky for optimum UV, burst resistance and abrasion protection. Essentra offers two styles. Our standard line of sight sleeve which protects people, environment and machinery against hydraulic hose oil leakage and spills. These are MSHA approved, meet ISO 6945 abrasion standard, Fed-STD-191 test method 5309 and ASTM D6770. Our second style is our Burst Guard Double sleeve which is our heaviest performance line specifically designed for high abrasion, weather resistance and controls hose bursts. It is two layers of nylon multifilament sleeve woven together that makes it tougher and more durable than any single layered sleeve. When the black outer layer wears away and you can see the yellow inner layer it is time to replace your sleeve.
