Jam Nuts

Jam Nuts, also know as Thin Hex Nuts, are a low-profile type of nut. Typically they are half as tall as a standard nut. It is commonly used as a type of locknut, where it is 'jammed' up against a standard nut to lock the two in place or where a standard nut will not fit. These light-weight nylon versions offer a vibration-, chemical- and corrosion-resistant option to metal variants.
