 (12 product groups)

Whether you need gas springs for precision movement, torsion springs for energy storage, or disc springs and wire die springs for specialized applications, we have the solutions you need.

Gas Springs: Our gas springs are specifically designed for precise opening and closing, as well as smooth raising and lowering actions. They are an excellent choice for applications requiring controlled movement and reliable performance.

Torsion Springs: With the ability to store and release energy, torsion springs are ideal for various applications. They are particularly effective in maintaining pressure over short distances, making them a versatile option for a wide range of industries.

Disc Springs: These springs consist of conically shaped discs stacked together. They are known for their ability to provide high load capacity and deflection while maintaining compact dimensions. Disc springs are commonly used in applications requiring strong axial force and dynamic load absorption.

Wire Die Springs: Wire die springs are helical compression springs specifically designed for use in die sets. They offer consistent and reliable force, making them ideal for applications that require repetitive and high-force compression.

A Belleville Washer, also known as Belleville Springs, features a conical configuration that makes it ideal for applications requiring high loads in small spaces.

By combining the disc-shaped Belleville Washers in sequence, each Belleville Spring size gives numerous load carrying possibilities. These Disc Springs are frequently used to solve problems relating to vibration, thermal expansion, relaxation and bolt creep.

Closed-End Wire Compression Springs

Compression Springs, sometimes called Coil Springs, are the most common style of spring and have a wide range of general uses. The springs are open-coil helical springs wound or constructed to resist compression along an axis of wind. When a load is placed on the wire compression spring, it is shorted, it then pushes against the load and tries to revert back to its original length. A Compression Spring is ideal for any application where a pushing or compressing force is required. Compression springs can either be placed over a rod or fitted inside a hole. Closed-end compression springs feature flat ends that offer a stable spring.

Our Wire Compression Spring range includes a Carbon Steel - music wire option. The music wire is not recommended for applications where temperature exceeds 121C. Also included is a Stainless Steel AISI 302 compression spring. This option is not recommended for applications where temperatures exceed +260C. The mechanical spring is slightly magnetic due to cold working during manufacturing.

  • Tolerances for Load P +10% and Spring Rate R +10%.

Conical Compression Springs

In stock - Delivery conditions may apply, visit our FAQs In production

Conical Compression Springs, also known as Tapered Springs, are a cone compression spring where the coil diameter decreases from one end of the spring to the other. This allows the conical spring to compress to an almost solid height.

Our tapered compression springs are made from stainless steel type 302, with a standard finish passivated to ASTM A937. These spring conical's have a right-hand direction of helix, with squared ends rather than grounded.

Use this cone compression spring in applications that need lower height of solids, and where more lateral stability is required - for instance when a regular compression spring buckles or bends. Typically used in applications such as automotive, aerospace, and consumer goods.

Gas Springs - Fixed Force

In stock - Delivery conditions may apply, visit our FAQs In production

Fixed Force Gas Springs, also are also known as a Forced Spring Gas Strut or a Gas Spring, are self-contained and maintenance free. Gas pressure internal to the strut provides a push or pull force depending on configuration, and additionally has a dampening circuit that controls the motion speed in one or both directions.

Gas Springs are safe to use with easy positional control. They are best suited for use on applications such as access panels, lids, bonnets and hatch covers.

Locking Gas Springs

In stock - Delivery conditions may apply, visit our FAQs In production

Our range of Locking Gas Springs include Security (Safety) Locking Gas Struts, and Blocklift Locking Gas Struts. These springs are ideal for applications where the motion control adjustments require comfort and security, even when locked in position. They are commonly used in the medical field, laboratories, the automotive industry, as well as for furniture and industrial equipment when opening, closing, tilting or damping.

Security springs feature a shroud. They eliminate the need for separate safety rods in critical lift-assist operations. When extended fully, they positively lock – this protects the operator from risk of injury in the event of overload or misuse. The shroud should be actively pressed in order to release the lock and ensure safe operation. They provide a self-contained, maintenance-free offering and are supplied in pairs. The rod is manufactured from steel and the fittings are made from polyamide and steel.

Blocklift springs perform just like conventional gas struts, but they also include a special internal locking valve, which allows it to be locked in any position. This locking mechanism only allows the strut to move whilst the release pin, located on the end of the piston rod, is depressed. Typical applications for Blocklift include; height and angle adjustment of seats on aircraft, buses, trains and other specialist transport. They also provide controlled adjustment for hospital beds, physiotherapy tables and for wheelchairs, plus height risers on desks. Available in Carbon and Stainless Steel. Offers single-handed operation.

  • Safe and easy to use
  • Maintenance free
  • Self-contained unit.

Torsion Springs are ideal for storing and releasing energy or maintaining pressure over a short distance. Our range is available in either right or left hand direction.

Made from Stainless Steel AISI 302, our large torsion springs come in different degrees of leg angle; 90 degree torsion springs, 180 degree torsion springs, 270 degree torsion springs and 360 degree torsions springs. The torsion spring exerts a torque in the opposite direction that is in proportion to the amount of twist action applied.

Springs are available in a selection of torques and mandrel sizes, to suit a plethora of applications and project needs.
