Anu-Lok Cap Head Captive Screws are intended to offer a secure and vibration-resistant attachment, while remaining permanently connected. Features a cap head design that enables simple torque application with tools like hexagonal keys. Anu-Lok 180 (AnuLok) is a reusable nylon patch that works like to a nylon nut. During installation, the nylon patch contracts to fill the gap within the threads.
The specialised retention mechanism prevents complete detachment from the assembly, due to vibration or mechanical stress, while allowing for repeated fastening and unfastening. This feature is useful in applications requiring maintenance or regular access. Applications include electronic enclosures, machinery guards and structural components.
Please note: These screws have a reduced diameter shank and should not be tightened to the recommended torque for an equivalent machine screw of size d1.
Anu-Lok Cap Head Seal Screws have a cap head design for better torque control and feature a built-in sealing mechanism that is designed for holding a gas-tight seal. Made of stainless steel, which has high corrosion resistance and is somewhat magnetic.
These screws utilize Anu-Lok 180 (AnuLok), a reusable nylon patch that works like a nylon nut. During installation, the nylon patch contracts to fill the gap within the threads, creating a holding mechanism that prevents the screw from detaching due to vibrations or mechanical stress.
With a hexagonal socket head, they can be easily tightened or loosened using an hexagonal wrench or key.
The Anu-Lok Cap Head Shoulder Screws feature a cylindrical shoulder that distinguishes the screws head from its threaded section. This shoulder is precisely machined to serve as a bearing surface for the screw head.
These screws utilise Anu-Lok 180 (AnuLok), a reusable nylon patch that works like a nylon nut. During installation, the nylon patch contracts to fill the gap within the threads, creating a holding mechanism that prevents the screw from detaching due to vibrations or mechanical stress.
Equipped with a hexagonal socket head, these screws can be easily tightened or loosened using a hexagonal wrench or key.
Binder Screw Sets are designed to screw the threaded part and receptacle together in seconds for a quick, easy, secure joining component. Supplied in sets including screw and receptacle (female part is the receptacle, and the male part is the screw).
It provides a secure binding solution, preventing the materials from coming apart, plus they are easy to use, install and remove. Used for bookbinding and with laminated applications.
The Book Binding Posts are made of plastic, which makes them lightweight and durable. These are the female or receptacle sides (male threaded posts sold separately). Both parts are joined together to hold the bound papers or materials.
It joins several sheets together by screwing them into a mating piece by hand or with a flat screwdriver. Used for panel fastening assemblies, such as swatch cards, colour charts, catalogues, sample books and many others.
The Book Binding Posts are made of metal, which offers superior strength, durability, and excellent resistance to wear and tear. This group includes the male threaded post and the female receptacle side; both parts are joined to hold the bound papers or materials (each part is sold separately). Unlike its male counterpart, the female book screws do not have a drive to its head.
It joins several sheets together by screwing them into a mating piece by hand or with a flat screwdriver. Used for panel fastening assemblies, such as swatch cards, colour charts, catalogues, sample books and many others.
This range of Seal Screws features a button head with a hexagonal drive. Hexagonal drives are ideal for precision assembly and are used where less surface area is available. They are made from Stainless Steel that provides good resistance to corrosion and is slightly magnetic..
Seal screws are a type of fastener designed with an o-ring to provide secure bi-directional protection against contaminates such as gases and fluids in various applications, minimising the risk of damage to sensitive equipment. They prevent the entry of water, dust, or other contaminants, ensuring a secure, reliable connection.
Seal screws are used in threaded and non-threaded holes in applications such as cabinets or used in the automotive and electric industries. Please note: Our seal screws are designed for use in applications where sealing properties are required. It could be confused with standard fasteners, these do not require sealing properties and with an O-ring you will not get a sealing property like you get with seal screws and may damage the ring.
This range of Captive Washers has a very shallow thread on the inside diameter. This means they can be screwed on, and once past the threads they will not separate from the captive screw or bolt.
How to install a captive screw and washer assembly;
1) Place the captive screw into the panel hole.
2) Thread the washer on to the screw, beyond the threaded part of the screw, which retains the screw in the panel.
The washers are made from Stainless Steel that provides good resistance to corrosion and machinability. The material is a popular choice for construction and automotive applications.
This range of sealing screws has a cap head with a torx socket drive, incorporating an O-ring that is compressed-squeezed between the head, the socket drive and the mating surface to complete the seal. Manufactured from stainless steel, which provides good corrosion resistance and is slightly magnetic.

Clearance holes are recommended for optimal sealing performance (see measurements below). Clearance hole depth is 2-3 times the thread pitch; threads are metric coarse pitch.
This range of Cap Screws are available in a choice of hexagonal drive or Torx drive. Hexagonal drives are ideal for precision assembly and are ideally used where less surface area is available. Torx drives provide a positive-engaging, fast-locating technique for transmitting drive torque with less necessary downward pressure. Available in a choice of two low head options: ultra low head and extra low head.
The Ultra Low Head options helps reduce the screws overall head height space, which means no countersinking is required, unlike flat head screws.
The Extra Low Head option has an extremely low profile and does not need a countersunk location hole. The lack of necessity for the countersink allows for thinner materials to be used, saving weight. These screws are suitable for machine and equipment applications, with minimal clearance.
The captive screw retainer flange is an alternative to either tapping the panel or using a retainer washer. The retainer flange is fixed to the panel by swaging the head into a countersunk hole.
The captive screw is then simply threaded through the flange and is retained in the panel.
The flanges are made from either Stainless Steel which has good corrosion reistance or Aluminium, which has good thermal conductivity.
Captive Screws are fasteners designed to remain attached to the component they are securing, even when fully loosened, providing convenience, security and ease of use in a variety of applications. They are a popular choice for applications where screws need to be removed frequently or where safety is a concern, as these screws will stay firmly in place and will not loosen from the assembly.
This range of Captive Screws has a button head and a Torx drive. Torx drives provide a positive-engaging, fast-locating technique for transmitting drive torque with less necessary downward pressure. They are an excellent fitting option for panels with non-threaded holes when used in conjunction with our threaded captive washers. They are used to comply with Machinery Detective 2006/42/EC - typically to ISO 14583, which requires fasteners to stay attached to fixed guards or applications when they are removed.
The screws are made from Stainless Steel, which is corrosion resistant and slightly magnetic, and you can find a group of screws with a blackened finish and others without. These screws are commonly used in electronics, industrial machinery, cabinets, panels and medical devices. Please keep in mind that because these screws have a smaller shank diameter, they should not be tightened to the suggested torque for an identical screw with the same thread size.
This range of Captive Screws feature a cap head with a hexagonal drive. Hexagonal drives are ideal for precision assembly and are ideally used where less surface area is available.
They are an ideal fitting solution for panels with non-threaded holes. They are used to comply with the Machinery Detective 2006/42/EC - generally to ISO 4762. Captive Screws are commonly used with Threaded Captive Washers (sold separately).
