Fire Protection Sleeves

Standard and Premium Fire Protection Sleeves shield cables, hydraulic leads and rubber hose lines from extreme temperatures, flames, radiation heat, and liquid metal spills. The inner sleeve has strong insulating capabilities and can withstand temperatures as high as 700C. The Standard variant has a thinner outer cover than the Premium option.

Mining Safety Approved Hose Protection Sleeves are dense but not bulky for optimum UV and abrasion protection. These sleeves are effective in reducing the concentrated stream of pinhole leaks with a high degree of burst resistance and good leakage containment. Approvals and Certifications: MSHA Approval #MSHA IC0234/0; Meets FED0STD0191 test method 5309 for abrasion resistance; Meets ASTM D6770 for abrasion resistance of textile webbing. Spiral Wrap Hose Protectors

Spiral Wrap Hose Protector, commonly known as Hose Spiral Guard or Hose Wrap, is suitable for the protection of hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial hose assemblies across a wide range of industries.

Our Hydraulic Hose Protector Spiral has excellent recovery memory to maximise the hose coverage, and this plastic spiral hose protector also has exceptional anti-crushing performance. The hose protectors maintain high abrasion resistance, which has been proven in arduous conditions. It also benefits from good resistance to UV rays. Hydraulic Spiral Wrap is suitable for wrapping single hoses or multiple hose bundles, and it comes conveniently packed in cartons for easy storage.

Our range includes Spiralguard made from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). The Flexible HDPE has a light duty due to a thinner wall thickness when compared to the heavy duty HDPE counterpart. This flexibility allows more movability on smaller hose with better memory recovery and less pressure on radius curve of the hose.

Also available is Spiral Wrap made from Polypropylene (PP), providing maximum protection against abrasion. This PP hose wrap dramatically increases hose serviceable life, as well as reducing repair costs, downtime and improving operator safety. The light duty material compared to HDPE can be cut with scissors, and has an operating range from -40C up to 105C.

Standoffs

Our range of Standoffs, which are commonly referred to as Hex Spacers or Standoff Pillars, are quick and easy to install thanks to their screw-in design. Our standoffs are available in both a non-undercut and undercut version. Non-undercut spacers offer greater stability, but require a washer for installation. Whereas undercut spacers are much quicker to install, and allow spacers to be stacked and do not require the use of a washer - making them a econonical solution. Our spacer range is also available in self-tapping types for mating with non-threaded fittings.

Our standoff spacers offering includes undercut male to female standoff made from either, nickel-plated brass, zinc-plated steel, aluminium or stainless steel, which are self-tapping. Female to female hex spacers made from brass, stainless steel, nickel-plated brass or zinc-plated steel. A self-tapping male to female hexagonal spacer made from nickel-plated hardened steel that's brass coloured. We also offer a round natural Nylon 6/6 push spacer.
