Expandable Masking Covers are an excellent alternative to traditional caps when covering parts with awkward shapes. Covers made from LDPE and PE materials are designed to stretch, featuring an elasticated end, while those made from silicone rely on the material's natural elasticity for expansion.

The LDPE and PE elasticated cap provides a looser fit, making it ideal for general protection during transport and storage or light masking requirements. In contrast, the Silicone material caps offer a stronger grip on the part, making them suitable for applications where pressure needs to be applied.

These covers are specifically designed to protect parts from coatings, painting, plating, or abrasive treatments. They can withstand temperatures up to 100 degrees Celsius for silicone and LDPE materials and up to 60 degrees Celsius for PE materials.
