Spring Plungers - Ball End - Smooth

These Spring Plungers with a ball end and a smooth body design are used for locating, applying pressure or lifting off. It is made of three parts: a smooth body, a ball end, and a spring mechanism. They resemble pin-end spring plungers, but the ball end engages more gently and reduces wear and tear on both the workpiece and the plunger.

The plunger's ball end provides a point of contact for accurate engagement and positioning within the application. The collar on the spring plunger serves as a retention function, keeping the plunger securely in place once inserted.

Its smooth body facilitates insertion and is held in place using an interference fit, as well as quick release. It can withstand temperatures of up to 250ºC and is widely utilised in machine and fixture design, electronics, medical, electronics, automotive, and lighting equipment.

Used for locating, applying pressure or lifting off.

Resemble pin-end spring plungers, but the ball end engages more gently and reduces wear and tear on both the workpiece and the plunger.
