PEEK Set Screws, with Socket type drive, are high-performance fasteners.Designed to securely hold components in place by applying pressure through a threaded drive.
PEEK (Polyether ether ketone) offers exceptional strength, heat resistance (up to 260C) and chemical resistance. This makes it ideal for high-performance applications. It also boasts low outgassing properties and resistance to wear, ensuring durability even in harsh conditions.
PEEK Set Screws are frequently used in several sectors including medical and semiconductor. They are useful for medical equipment, subject to sterilisation operations, as they are chemical and radiation resistant. In the semiconductor sector they work reliably in high-temperature and corrosive settings, making them ideal for precise equipment such as wafer handling systems and vacuum chambers.
