These Expander Fit Spring Plungers are used for positioning, applying pressure, and lifting off. Its unique body design bends to expand, contract, and adjust to bore location tolerances as broad as + 0.2 mm d4.
Its material provides excellent strength in various conditions and temperatures, as well as corrosion resistance, control, and stability. It is quick and easy in production and assembly, and it removes the requirement for the cost of high-accuracy machining and part preparation.
It is recommended that it be used as a single, one-time installation for optimum results since repeated actions of install and uninstall can diminish its capacity to expand into holes with broader tolerances owing to plastic fatigue. It is resistant to temperatures ranging from -30C to +50C. Ideal for applications in plastic moulded components for machine and fixture design, electronics, medical and lighting equipment.
