These metric-sized expansion sealing plugs are intended to offer efficient, high-pressure sealing of apertures or cavities, obstructing the entry of dust, moisture, air and gas.
The expander ball is inserted into the plug sleeve. The plug ball's separate grooved sealing rings are pushed into the housing. It stays in place with the ball pressed up against the counterbore shoulder.
It is simple to install since it does not need tapping, reaming, machining of O-ring grooves, or using tapes or sealants. Commonly used in applications, including fluid power systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, industrial and valves.
