Finishing Washers

Finishing Washers provide protection for cabinets and other applications from scratching and other damage that may occur. They also provide cover for misaligned holes that means the finished appearance of your assembly will be neat and tidy.

This high quality finish is couple with good thermal and electrical insulation properties. These washers are versatile and can also be used as glides, bumpers, feet and spacers.

  • Material: Nylon 6/6
  • Colors: Black and Natural
  • UL94 V2 Flame Rated

Insulating Cup Washers

Round Cup Washers are ofter used for covering large holes, like pipe and tube ends. They are shaped like a cup or bowl and often have a flanged area beneath the head - useful for evenly distributing a load over a surface area.

It insulates the head of a metal screw from electrical currents or other conductive materials. It is resistant to corrosion, oil and other chemicals. It can be used with most screw head styles such as cheese, pan and fillister.

  • Material: Nylon
  • Colour: Natural

Nylon Flat Washers

Flat Washers for screws made from a variety of plastics. Also known as plain washers, these plastic washers are among the most commonly used. The flat washer helps evenly distribute the load of a fastener, such as a nut, whilst helping to reduce heat and friction during the process of tightening. Our wide range features a vast array of sizes, with large plastic washers that are suitable for a number of metric threads. We also offer a choice of materials, including a core offering of nylon flat washers. The range is made from Nylon 6/6, with a flame resistance of UL94 V2, these nylon washers are resistant to corrosion and most chemicals.Other plastic washers for sale include a clear Polycarbonate (PC) washer that offers high transparency. Also featured is a selection of hard plastic washers like Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK) plastic washers, which provide excellent mechanical and chemical resistance. They are UL94 V0 rated and have a light brown appearance. Perhaps our Polypropylene (PP) flat washer is your washer of choice? Natural in appearance, this washer has good chemical and moisture resistance. We also stock a range of black plastic washers made from Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), which have moisture and abrasion resistance properties.

  • Durable, smooth finish
  • Insulates against moisture and electricity
  • Resistant to corrosion, abrasion and most chemicals
  • Provides full insulation, cushioning and spacing
  • Colors: Natural, Black, Clear and Light Brown.

Retaining Washers

Retaining Washers are primarily used to hold screws and bolts in place during assembly and have a design that grips the outside of screw or bolt shank. They also provide insulation. cushioning and spacing. They help insulate fastening assemblies from moisture and electricity.

This washer range includes options with internal and external teeth with a tapered design. The washer easily slides on to the screw (or bolt) and is retained by the screw once assembled. The washer cold forms and fully enters the pitch of the screw to provide sealing.

These washers allow for preliminary mounting of the screw (or bolt) before securing with a nut. They are ideal when pre-assembly of the screw and washer is required. They also help reduce assembly time and cost.

The range includes material options that provide corrosion, abrasion and chemical resistance.

  • Materials: Polyamide 6.6 (PA) and Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
  • Colour: Blue, Grey, Natural and Red

Shoulder Washers

Shoulder Washers, sometimes known as a Plastic Bush or Step Washer, are commonly used as a bushing to insulate fasteners or shafts within electronic equipment. For this reason, shoulder washers are made from non-conductive materials like Nylon. It is advised to avoid using shoulder bushings in humid environments.

Our extensive plastic shoulder washers range, includes Nylon Shoulder Washer Bushings made from Nylon 6/6 and manufactured to UL94 V2 flame resistance. The nylon sleeve washer range includes.

Screw Insulators (including Metric and Mini options). These are strong and have corrosion resistance - they also provide electrical insulation.

Nylon Shoulder Washers are resistant to many chemicals, as well as being corrosion resistant. They insulate and reduce vibration, and tend to act as a spacer or guide. We also have standard shouldered washer options designed to protect the head of metal screws from electrical contact.

Metric Locking and Sealing Washers are designed to created interference on both the outside diameter of a hex nut, and on the inside diameter of the screw.Flanged Bushings are suitable for light-load bearings or bushing. They will not rust, corrode or deteriorate - making them highly economical. They act as an electrical insulator by preventing metal-to-metal contact. Low-friction coefficient and can be used as a locator, sleeve, liner or glide.

Our plastic shoulder washer offer also includes a High Temperature Screw Insulator made from UL94 V0 glass-filled Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS), and black in appearance. It can withstand temperatures up to Temperature: up to 428F.

  • Material: Polyamide (PA), Nylon, Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS)
  • Colors: Natural and Black
  • UL94 V2 and UL94 V0 flame rated options.

Spring Washers

Spring Washers are a type of washer that has a conical shape. This means that without the presence of a load, the washer is unable to sit flush to a surface.

Spring Washers are named as such, because they provide spring force. These handy washers also absorb shock by using axial loads to counter vibrations in an assembly. Our range can be used singly in parallel, in series and in series parallel for a wide range of deflection and load capacity applications.

They also provide electrical and thermal insulation and benefit from resistance to corrosion.
