Cap Nuts
Cap nuts are used to cover exposed threaded stub, rod or bolts with a dome shaped cap to provide safety and a finished look. They are offered with or without a added molded in locking thread that required added torque for a more secure assembly.
Jam Nuts
Jam Nuts, aslo know as Thin Hex Nuts, are a low profile type of nut. Typically they are half as tall as a standard nut. It is commonly used as a type of locknut, where it is 'jammed' up against a standard nut to lock the two in place or where a standard nut will not fit. These lightweight nylon versions offer a vibration, chemical and corrosion resistant option to metal variants.
License Plate Fasteners
Fasteners used for fastening license plates to automotive vehicles.
Nylon Flange Nuts
Nylon Flange Nuts have a washer-like base to evenly distribute pressure over a grater surface area. This secures the nut and provides excellent anti-vibration properties.
Nylon Grommet Nuts
Nylon Grommet Nuts provide a low cost positive connection to thin gauge materials like sheet metal or PCB's, as an alternative to using a Standard Nut. They snap-in place and when a metal screw is inserted the locking fingers expand to secure the assembly in place. The nylon grommet head provides electrical and thermal insulation, corrosion resistance and creates a vibration resistant connection.
Nylon Hex Nuts
The hexagol shape with its six flat sides provide an easy way to tighen and losen this Nylon Hex Nut, when using a standard wrench, as they are designed to either SAE imperial and metric sizes. Nylon Hex Nuts are non-conductive and offer corrosion resistance and a lasting hold.
Plastic Thumb Nuts
These Nylon Thumb Nuts with a knurled outside surface can be tightened by hand and are commonly used in applications where the fasteners will be removed regularly.
Plastic Wing Nuts
Wing Nuts have two large 'wings', one on each side to allow them to easily be tightened and loosened by hand without tools. Typically used where disassembly are frequently required or where interchangeable parts are used.
Push On Metric Kwik Nut
The metric Kwik Nut is designed to be easily pushed down onto a thread to the desired length, then turned 180 degrees to lock into place. To remove it requires being unscrewed with a wrench. Being made of black nylon the parts are light weight and corrosion resistant.
