Ze zijn geschikt voor een verscheidenheid aan toepassingen en zijn verkrijgbaar in versies met onvolledig of volledig schroefdraad. Afstandhouders met volledig schroefdraad bieden meer stabiliteit, maar hebben voor de installatie een sluitring nodig. Afstandhouders met onvolledig schroefdraad, zijn veel sneller te installeren, maken het mogelijk afstandhouders te stapelen en vereisen geen sluitring. Ze zijn ook verkrijgbaar in zelftappende types zodat ze op fittingen zonder schroefdraad passen. Ze zijn er in verschillende materialen en lengtes.

These nylon shoulder washers are a self-lubricating option, great for anything that pivots or rotates. The are low coefficient of friction, and resistant of moisture, dirt and most chemicals. We also have a countersunk sleeve that is frequently applied in electro technical environments, and is compulsory by law in many countries. It prevents electrical corrosion with countersunk head screws.
