DK Film provides the tack of our permanent rubber based adhesive without the thickness of foam tape. Rubber based adhesives have good initial tack and are designed to bond to many different types of surfaces. Two adhesive thicknesses are available for greater flexibility in your application: Use the 3.0 mil tape for less demanding, cost sensitive projects. Use the 4.5 mil tape for applications that require a higher shear strength: Extrusions, Nameplates, Packaging and bindery, Signage, POP displays, Corrugated folder/box, Plastic fasteners
8606 is a general purpose tape for resealable polyethylene/polypropylene bags where tape application is at bag manufacturing stage. Due to the wide variation in flexible packaging materials and the bond strengths required, it is recommended that the tape be fully evaluated in all applications prior to use.
DK Film is a high tack double sided tape with a rubber adhesive. Rubber based adhesives have good initial tack and are designed to bond to many different types of surfaces including low surface energy substrates. Specifications: Adhesive: Rubber based permanent on both sides (not recommended for direct UV exposure).
