Our customers are at the heart of everything we do

At Essentra Components, we love a challenge.

Learn more about the solutions our industrial components and processes provide our customers globally, across different industries.

Penlon

Penlon

  • Challenge: A variety of components needed - from stock and with short lead times, to produce 15,000 ventilators for the NHS, as part of the VentilatorChallengeUK Consortium.

  • Solution: Protection, fasteners, and cable management solutions hand-delivered to Penlon within 2 hours for the first 30 ventilators.

  • Results: Supporting VentilatorChallengeUK, Penlon was able to deliver 100-200 ventilators every day to the NHS on the timescale already agreed upon with the UK government.
Tecumseh

Tecumseh

  • Challenge: Improve planning, reduce processing costs and save valuable inventory space through procurement consolidation.

  • Solution: Essentra’s vast range of components was exactly what Tecumseh required to consolidate their procurement process from six suppliers to one and take advantage of just-in-time ordering.

  • Results: Sourcing their cable management and access hardware solutions from one place made the process far more efficient and cost-effective.
Vestel

Vestel

  • Challenge: Vestel needed an effective and permanent locking system to restrict unauthorised use of Smartboards, protecting both the equipment and the students in 250,000 classrooms.

  • Solution: Producing a range of 3D CAD and 3D printed samples enabled Essentra to further enhance the lock by modifying the prototype to improve the locking pin strength and ensure that the catch was able to rotate 180 degrees.

  • Results: Through dedicated design, prototyping and development, Essentra’s experts were to provide Vestel with a robust and secure custom locking solution, resulting in quality, safety and security.
Group Atlantic

Groupe Atlantic

  • Challenge: A swing handle that was secure, adapted to a high-panel thickness, fit flush with the boiler design and able to open safely.

  • Solution: The final solution included a bespoke ergonomic handle, a bespoke tooling needed for the side of the boiler and a silicone isolation cap to insulate around the main boiler part.

  • Results: Essentra’s experts worked directly with Group Atlantic, which resulted in a custom solution that provided time savings, improved performance and cost reductions.
Burgaflex

Burgaflex

  • Challenge: The rubber caps used to protect the air conditioning hose assemblies whilst shipping regularly dislodged, causing product damage, contamination and customer dissatisfaction.

  • Solution: 9 different custom clear caps that sealed the o-ring groove, thread and hose from debris and moisture.

  • Results: Essentra and Burgaflex’s close partnership resulted in the ideal solution providing cost savings, increased productivity and tool efficiency.
