Stahl Xpansion Pins

These XYZ Xpansion Pins, feature a unique design that allows for exact positioning and repeatability while providing strong holding pressures to fasten pieces on an interior diameter.

The pins top has been slightly tapered to optimise line contact in the mounting bore while providing appropriate clearance during workpiece loading and unloading. Furthermore, the press-fit feature keeps the pins in place even when subjected to vibration or dynamic stresses.

It is easy to install by pressing them into a precisely drilled hole with a threaded hole in the middle to take a tapered screw; once in place, it expands to form a tight and secure fit. It offers a low-cost solution for tombstones, water jetting operations, grid and fixture plates, and other applications in electronic manufacturing, industrial machinery, and medical devices.
