These Unflanged Stainless Carriages are a type of linear bearing particularly useful for heavy loads in various applications where linear motion is guided and supported. Their rails are made of contoured aluminium, with two hardened stainless steel shafts pressed to serve as raceways for the runner block balls.

Because of its low friction, the unflanged design provides a larger surface contact area with the linear guide, ensuring increased stability and precision in motion. Ball retainers in the carriages allow for far larger parallelism and mounting base height offsets, allowing for considerable misalignment and allowing the carriages to be withdrawn from the rail without losing any balls.
