Quarter Turn Fasteners engage receptacles and are fastened by turning the stud about 90 degrees - a process known as a 'quarter-turn rotation'. The fastener provides a predictable holding force and offers a detent in locked position that resists opening in error. A solution that is quick, but secure in its assembly. They are a fast fastener that provide a permanent mounting solution. An ideal choice, suitable for security panels and components that need to be replaced in a hurry.
To install and remove: Use a flat-head screwdriver or a coin and give the fastener a quarter-turn. This releases the bottom panel while retaining the fastener in the removable panel. Alternatively, drive the plunger into the grommet with a hammer that locks two panels together.
Our range of Quarter Turn Fasteners is available in a choice of materials, including; Acetal Co-Polymer, Acetal RMS-14, Polyoxymethylene (POM), Nylon 6/6 and Polyamide.
Barbed Push-In Rivets can be inserted into threaded and unthreaded holes to form a strong and reliable joint. They are a popular choice when selecting a plastic quick fastener.
The rivets anchor has a ribbed design that ensures quick and easy installation. When inserted with a simple push into a panel hole, the ribs deflect and then spring back into position. This locks the rivet, allowing it to hold the panel securely in place.
This rivet option is useful for mounting fans, as well for the securing of seat pads and other fabric items. Suitable for a variety of materials, including; wood, foam, rubber, metals and plastics. These rivets are ideal for threaded, non-threaded, drilled or punched holes. They are available in a choice of sizes and style options, for a range of hole diameters and panel thicknesses.
Ratchet Rivets are a coloured snap-together fastener made from plastic that requires a two rivet assembly. Simply snap the two identical ratchet rivets together to create a single connection ready for your application. These easy to use rivets require no tools, such as screws, for installation.
Ratchet Rivets can be used with Snap Rings and Snap Ring Washers, when the compatible mating hole has a 5.5mm diameter.
When used in combination with a Snap Ring, the rivet becomes suitable for very thin applications. Ratchet Rivets can also be used with Snap Ring Washer's, which acts as a special cushioning washer, providing the ratchet rivet with more surface support.
Spread Rivets are used for the fixing and joining of multiple panels. Our range is available in a choice of two materials; K-Resin and Polypropylene (PP).
The K-Resin options are clear in colour. This material benefits from high impact resistance, rigidity and excellent clarity and gloss. This makes it a good choice for finished products. K-Resin is a good option for a range of applications, including medical and display components.
The PP options are available in black and white. This material has good temperature stability and is resistant to most acids and alkaline's. PP is a good option for electronic applications or as a packaging component.
Materials: K-Resin and Polypropylene (PP)Colours: Black, Clear and White
