Essentra unveils more sustainable PCR range

Essentra Components, a leading provider of essential industrial components, has launched a new range of post-consumer recycled material products.

Post-consumer recycled (PCR) content consists of items that were used and disposed of by consumers, including cardboard, newspapers and plastic bottles. The new Essentra PCR products provide a more sustainable solution, with no compromise on application suitability.

The PCR range is 100% post-consumer recycled, directly supporting the stated ESG commitment of Essentra. It helps reduce landfill waste and, in most cases, PCR content requires less energy to create, lowering the carbon footprint.

The new range includes an array of products, including parallel protection plugs, snap fit plugs, face protectors and a variety of multi-purpose tube inserts.

In addition to being 100% post-consumer recycled, the Essentra PCR range is available with same day despatch, packaged with recyclable and sustainability sourced materials.

Jennifer Spence, ESG Director at Essentra says that this product range will directly benefit customers as well as the planet: “Essentra has ambitious ESG targets, and this product range directly supports our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint and reach our net zero goals. More than that, they offer a more sustainable cost-effective solution to our customers with no compromise on quality.”

She adds: “We’re excited about developing this line further to benefit our customers and the planet. We take our environmental commitment very seriously and we will continue to innovate and find solutions that directly support our customers across the globe.”
