Push-In Rivets

These expansion rivets can be set 'blind' without the need for access to the back of the panel. Set by pulling the mandrel head into the rivet body, expanding the rivet body and causing it to flare against the reverse side. When sufficient force is applied, the mandrel will snap at its break point. Installed with a pop rivet installation tool (not currently offered by Essentra). Particularly good for soft materials.

Arrow Clips easily push into holes to fasten thin gauge material or light-weight components. Designed in either natural or black, they provide a light-weight and corrosion-resistant solution.

Flat, beveled head eases assembly and disassembly. Easily pushed in by hand. As the pin is inserted into the grommet, the legs expand, locking it in place.

These drive fasteners are a multi-purpose, front-loaded fastener. They have a hollow body which increases their flexibility for ease of insertion and removal. Can be used as a decorative hole plug. Easily inserted by hand. Available in both UL94 V-2 and UL94 V-0 rated materials.

Pushing the pin into the rivet body causes the legs to expand and grip the material. The legs fold out to .73 inches wide. Once installed, the rivet cannot be removed from the outside of the box. Good for use with cardboard or other porous material. Available in black and natural colors.

Fasten a heat sink to a processor chip on a PCB. They have an integrated spring that provides continuous pressure to the heat sink until the thermal adhesive cures. The HSR-2 has a cross molded in allowing it to be installed by using a Phillips head screwdriver.

These Push-in Fasteners provide an inexpensive, easy solution to join materials together where the overall thickness is up to 1.51 inches.
