Rubber Grommets

 (7 product groups)

Rubber cable grommets are small rings or elements that can be inserted into panel holes to allow various types of electrical wiring and cables to pass through while protecting them from chafing, abrasion, dust, and water. In addition to serving as protective barriers, grommets can also help reinforce a hole and provide cable protection for items passing through it.

Types of rubber grommets

Most cable grommets in our range are round grommets, however, we stock various types of rubber cable grommet including:

Entry grommets - ideal for vibration damping, eliminating noise, and shock.

Sealing grommets - used for sealing gaps and for providing excellent waterproofing capabilities, these are offered in IP 67.

Open grommets - quick fit installation and designed to easily snap into place when being installed.

Other types of grommets and grommet accessories in our range include diaphragm grommets, electrical grommets, sealing grommets, step grommets and grommet strips.

Materials & Industries

These grommets are manufactured from TPE, TPR (thermoplastic rubber) and EPDM. Although our range features other materials such as plastic, metal, PVC, nylon and stainless steel.

Rubber grommet benefits

Rubber grommets serve to protect cables, help with organization, and management of cables and wires, thereby extending their life and reliability.

Rubber is a versatile material that provides a range of benefits for different applications. One of the main advantages of rubber cable grommets is their ability to withstand harsh weather conditions. They offer robust resistance to rain, snow, sleet, and various other elements, making them suitable for outdoor applications. Additionally, rubber is durable and resistant to abrasion and tearing, which helps extend the life of grommets and the cables or pipes they protect.

Rubber can also handle higher temperatures than other materials, making it ideal for high-heat environments. Finally, rubber grommets are cost-effective and practical solutions for various applications due to their versatility and ability to meet different requirements. All of these features make rubber cable grommets an excellent choice for reliable and durable protection of cables and equipment.
