Cage Nuts are applied to square holes, commonly found on mounting rails of equipment racks. The combination of a square hole and cage nut is used within rack systems as this allows for a choice of nut and bolt sizes; if threads are damaged the nut can be easily replaced because the sheet metal is too thin to tap or thread. Our range is made from Steel and are available in several sizes to suit your application.
Cross Dowel Barrel Nuts
Cross Dowel Barrel Nuts are designed to be used with Joint Connector Bolts where a right angle connection is needed. The M6 nuts are supplied in a zinc alloy material for a cost-effective solution whereas the M8 nuts are supplied in steel for additional strength. The M8 nuts are therefore ideal where heavier applications are required - typically on boards of a 22mm thickness upwards. Joint Connector Nuts
Joint Connector Nuts are designed to be used with Joint Connector bolts. The head size of the bolt and nut match, thus providing an excellent surface finish on both sides of the assembly. They are easily applied with an Allen key
Lock & Flange Nuts - Metal
A Flange Nut is a hex nut with a flange on the base, acting as an integrated washer. This spreads the load and prevents damage to the part, while also reducing the risk of the nut loosening in application.
