Essentra Components operates robust and well-established systems for Health & Safety and Environmental Management throughout the company; we are dedicated to ensuring that all our products & packaging are compliant to global regulatory systems.
Essentra Components is committed to complying with the EU REACH (Regulation EC No. 1907/2006) and we would like to inform you that we are not directly affected by the registration of the substances due to the fact we are neither a manufacturer nor an importer of substances.
We are however, involved in the importing and manufacturing of articles (products / packaging) but these have no intended releases (toxic emissions).
In the process of producing our products we purchase resins and metals. Our material suppliers have a legal responsibility to ensure the chemicals used are registered with the European Chemical Agency (ECHA). We are aware of the impact of this legislation and expect them to act diligently and within the scope of registration requirements.
Essentra Components Declaration for Products / items (Articles) Provided
Based on the information available to us from our Raw Materials & Products Suppliers and to the best of our knowledge, we can confirm and declare that all the products (articles) listed below and packaging we supply to you comply with the restrictions of substances listed in Annex XVII of REACH and do not contain any of the SVHC’s over the permitted level >0.1% and there are no substances of concern to report in SCIP

In line with Article 33 of REACH, we can confirm that we will review the (SVHC’s) list on regular basis. We will notify you and the ECHA (as applicable) on the presence of any Candidate List substances in our products that we supply above the concentration of >0.1% by weight.
