Shoulder Washers, sometimes known as a Plastic Bush or Step Washer, are commonly used as a bushing to insulate fasteners or shafts within electronic equipment. For this reason, shoulder washers are made from non-conductive materials like Nylon. It is advised to avoid using shoulder bushings in humid environments.

Our extensive plastic shoulder washers range, includes Nylon Shoulder Washer Bushings made from Nylon 6/6 and manufactured to UL94 V2 flame resistance. The nylon sleeve washer range includes.

Screw Insulators (including Metric and Mini options). These are strong and have corrosion resistance - they also provide electrical insulation.

Nylon Shoulder Washers are resistant to many chemicals, as well as being corrosion resistant. They insulate and reduce vibration, and tend to act as a spacer or guide. We also have standard shouldered washer options designed to protect the head of metal screws from electrical contact.

Metric Locking and Sealing Washers are designed to created interference on both the outside diameter of a hex nut, and on the inside diameter of the screw.Flanged Bushings are suitable for light-load bearings or bushing. They will not rust, corrode or deteriorate - making them highly economical. They act as an electrical insulator by preventing metal-to-metal contact. Low-friction coefficient and can be used as a locator, sleeve, liner or glide.

Our plastic shoulder washer offer also includes a High Temperature Screw Insulator made from UL94 V0 glass-filled Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS), and black in appearance. It can withstand temperatures up to Temperature: up to 428F.

  • Material: Polyamide (PA), Nylon, Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS)
  • Colors: Natural and Black
  • UL94 V2 and UL94 V0 flame rated options.
