Threaded fasteners are used to join two or more objects or to hold an object in position. They are made from a wide range of materials, including steel, stainless steel and nylon. They come in a huge variety of sizes, shapes and styles. Common types include hex head and carriage bolts while specialty styles include shoulder and self-piercing screws.
How to decide between a Bolt or Screw:-
Bolts are threaded fasteners that are secured with a nut. We offer a selection of carriage bolts, tooling bolts, eye bolts, U-bolts and elevator bolts. Browse our selection of bolts to find the size and style you need for your project. Screws are threaded fasteners that are not secured with a nut. Many types of screws, such as hex head cap screws can be used as a bolt. We have a large selection, including options in nylon and metal with imperial or metric threads.
Threaded Studs & Rods- These have threads running the entire length of the rod, allowing a nut to be attached to either end. We have them available in steel or stainless steel in lengths from ¾" to 6".
