What are Toggle Clamps used for?

Toggle clamps are a quick action tool for keeping in place and holding down a workpiece. They can be fixed to benches and fixtures and can also be handheld for holding pieces of wood together. Horizontal Manual Hold-Down Clamps have a low height design, cushioned handle grip, and zinc-plated components to resist corrosion. The handle and hold-down bar move in opposite directions to provide secure holding capacity.

Manual Hold-Down Clamps - Vertical

Vertical Hold Down Clamps, also known as Vertical Toggle Clamps, have the ability to hold large amounts of pressure. These Hold Down Clamps also save valuable space without sacrificing holding capacity or clamp performance.

Our Hold-Down Clamps feature a Red Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) hand grip with a cushioned profile for improved user comfort. Pivot points are fitted with hardened Steel or Stainless Steel rivets to maintain accuracy, and to provide a long service life. The Clamps have adjustable spindles, and they are manufactured with a formed end to the arm.

Flanged Washers are supplied with all slotted arm versions.

Manual Hook & Latch Clamps - Vertical

Vertical Clamps are a manual clamp commonly used for woodworking and joinery applications. A type of toggle clamp, they are designed to secure and hold objects in position. They feature a handle, a lever system and securing bar.Our range includes Hook Clamps and Latch Clamps with a Zinc Plated Steel clamp and a Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) grip that is Red in appearance. User comfort is improved thanks to the hand grip that has a cushioned rib profile. All body and linkage components on this light duty range are zinc plated to resist corrosion. The vertical latch pivot points are fitted with hardened steel or stainless steel rivets, to maintain accuracy and provide a long service life.

Manual Plier Clamps

Plier Clamps are used when more torque is needed in order to pry or remove items, and also when extra grip is required for clamping objects in place. Applications and uses might include the loosening of joint connections on pipes, nuts and washers, and also for the removal of nails.

The Plier Clamp features a pivoting jaw that allows a deep depth to open and close easily, in awkward profiles. The jaw spindle can be preset to achieve the optimum clamping distance and pressure.
