Essentra Components has a several types of catches that hold a door, container, drawer or panel closed. From light duty roller & knuckle catches to sturdy grabber catches with optional microswitch for a logic circuit.
Grabber Catches have a spring-loaded, over-center latching mechanism. This style of catch offers a stronger closure force than many other types of door catches. It is also available with an optional microswitch that can operate an indicator light or part of a logic circuit.
Knuckle Catches have a simple push-to-close, pull-to-open design. The catch has a knob which wedges between the fingers on the strike plate and catches there, holding the door closed.
Roller Catches use either a single or double roller system to catch on the strike, holding a door closed until it is pushed or pulled open.
