With so many fasteners out there, how do you know which one is the most cost effective while giving you the performance you need?
Threaded fasteners are used to join two or more objects or to hold an object in position. They are made from a wide range of materials, including steel, stainless steel and nylon. They come in a huge variety of sizes, shapes and styles. Common types include hex head and carriage bolts while specialty styles include shoulder and self-piercing screws.
How to decide between a Bolt or Screw:-
Bolts are threaded fasteners that are secured with a nut. While screws are threaded fasteners that are not secured with a nut. Many types of screws, such as hex head cap screws, can also be used as a bolt. We have a large selection, including options in nylon and metal.
Threaded Studs & Rods – These have threads running the entire length of the rod, allowing a nut to be attached to either end. We have them available in nylon in 1metre lengths and a range of compatible thread sizes.
